The True Meaning of Christmas

" A Rose By Any Other Name Does Smell As Sweet
Merry Christmas to you as well. And much like my Dear Friend Jesus Christ -- in the words of Billy Joel --- I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints. Those words were written for a reason.
I note that you are familiar with Charles Swindal. I read one of his books on shame and Grace -- and have carried an image of his with me ever since.

Vertical Grace flows from God to man, **celestial giggle** and when I am in a teasing mood with my Beloved God -- from this woman to God. Occasionally I will tease Him with great Love in my heart -- and say a prayer for Him!!! He laughs at me -- thanks me and hugs me.

Horizontal Grace flows from human to human

The intersection of those two flows represents a cross -- and at the Center of that cross is True Bliss - Heaven On Earth.

That is what my Dear Friend Jesus Christ was teaching.

But He also knew that in order to reach the sinners, He had to be among them, for often true compassion only comes with having walked a mile in another person's moccasins. **Mixed metaphors -- I know** He also knew that it's human nature not to listen to someone who is preaching to you from afar. The true meaning of "build my church upon this rock" was to have the world be your church -- not the temples.

A profoundly guiding book that I no longer have because -- true to my nature -- I gave it away to someone who needed it more than me -- was a Christian publication called From The Father's Heart: Letters from God. A little slip of a book that contained much wisdom. One of the letters talked about: it's easy to give to the obviously destitute. But to give to the tax collectors and the publicans -- ah -- that's another matter entirely.

This is the season we celebrate the return of the Light to the world --- whether it's Christian Christmas, Jewish Hanukkah, Muslim Ramaden, or Old Religion Solstice -- note they all fall at the same time of year.

So, perhaps a Christian wakes up Christmas morning and realizes that he has felt an emotional pain similar to his neighbor -- that they are not so different after all.

And suppose perhaps a Jew wakes up Christmas morning and realizes that he has felt an emotional anger similar to his neighbor -- that they are not so different after all.

And the Muslim wakes up Christmas morning and realizes that he has felt an emotional joy similar to his neighbor -- that they are not so different after all.

And the Old Religion Pagan wakes up Christmas morning and realizes that he has felt an emotional fear similar to his neighbor -- that they are not so different after all.

Are they not all celebrating the Birth of Christ and the return of the Light to the world in the form of Christ's consciousness -- even though each one speaks a different language?

And my Dear Friend Jesus Christ spoke ALL languages, including the language of Lucifer, the Fallen Angel.

And the Love of God, unconditional Grace, is just that -- unconditional. By pure definition of God, He will not spare one child for having recognized The Lord Jesus Christ and condemn another child because he did not recognize the Lord Jesus Christ.

And my Dear Friend Jesus Christ said that His House has many Mansions. But the Path to His House is indeed very narrow.

For the Love of God is a feeling and an action -- not words.

May the Light shine upon you, -- and from within you."
